Location & Information

CAMPING INFO:

Tent Camping:

Tent camping is available on a  limited “primitive” basis.  That means NO car camping in the designated campsite.  Passes will be sold on a “per tent” basis. Temporary toilets and waste disposal areas will be available in a convenient location.  Generator powered, light towers will be onsite to increase the safety of festival goers.  Please be courteous and take only the space you need.  Pack it in, pack it out.  

TENT SAFETY Cover your tent stakes with inverted plastic water bottles  or any other cushioned material so people don’t cut themselves on the sharp edges. Mark the outside of your tent with a piece of cloth so you can find your tent amongst the many others. Bring a small lock to increase security of your belongings. Make sure to lock all valuables in your car! The Sawtooth Valley Gathering cannot be held responsible for stolen items.

Arrival Instructions

The Sawtooth Valley Pioneer Park (SVPP) campsite will be open to the public at 5 PM on Thursday, 7/27.  Tent campers that arrive on Thursday will be able to take advantage of the “drop off” located at the mouth of the SVPP campsite to unload their gear.  After doing so, Tent campers will drop their vehicle off at the Mountain Mammas Parking Lot (MMPL) before returning to set up camp.  Tent campers that arrive on Friday and Saturday will begin at the MMPL, where they will park, load their gear on the shuttle bus, and take the short ride (.5 miles) up to the SVPP campsite to unload and and set up camp.  Tent, Vehicle, and RV campers will be able to ride the shuttle to and from downtown Stanley during festival hours.  Campers that select the “Will Call” option will have to stop at the Box Office at the Mountain Village Saloon before proceeding to the campsite.  SVPP & MMPL must be vacated by 12 noon on Sunday, 7/30.


Vehicle Camping

A very limited number of Vehicle Camping/Parking passes will be available online.  Each Vehicle pass comes with 1 Weekend Festival Pass.  No dumping of any kind or electrical available.  Temporary toilets and waste disposal areas will be available in a convenient location.  Generator powered, light towers will be onsite to increase the safety of festival goers.  Please be courteous and take only the space you need. Pack it in, pack it out.

RV Camping

A very limited number of RV Camping/Parking passes will be available online.  Each RV pass comes with 2 Weekend Festival Passes.  No dumping of any kind or electrical available.  Temporary toilets and waste disposal areas will be available in a convenient location. Generator powered, light towers will be onsite to increase the safety of festival goers.

On-site parking spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis according to our parking plan. Any vehicle longer than 18′ that is parking on-site is required to have an RV Parking Pass.  RV Parking Passes permit and enable oversized vehicles to park on the

RV Parking Passes are entitled to a 15’w x 35’ space which must include your vehicle and any tents or shade structures. If the vehicle is longer, please contact us in advance for special placement. Tow vehicles must be removed from the SVPP campsite after trailer is set, and parked at either the MMPL or Stanley School. Please be courteous and take only the space you need.  Pack it in, pack it out.

RV passes are limited. When they sell out there will be no more available, please do not bring your RV to the SVG without a RV Pass.  If a vehicle is oversized it is considered a RV and therefore must have a RV pass. There is no other oversized parking or trailer parking available anywhere at  the venue. RENTED BOX VANS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.

PARKING INFO:

Mountain Mammas Parking Lot (MMPL)

A limited number of parking spaces will be available at the off-site, Mountain Mammas Parking Lot (MMPL), which is located .5 miles from the Sawtooth Valley Pioneer Park (SVPP) campsite.  The use of the MMPL is included with the tent camping option.  A limited number of parking spaces will be available for non-campers for a suggested donation of $10 per day that will cover your parking and shuttle ride for everyone in the vehicle.  All proceeds generated from the sale of parking/shuttle rides to non-campers will be donated to the Stanley School Parents Association.  Absolutely zero alcohol or illegal drug consumption will be tolerated on Stanley School property.  Re-entry is subject to availability and another $10 fee.

Stanley School Parking Lot

Parking at the Stanley School is not included with any of the camping options.  The Stanley School is available to attendees on a first come, first serve basis for a fee of $10 per day.  All proceeds generated from the sale of parking at the Stanley School will be donated to the Challis Unified School District.  Absolutely zero alcohol or illegal drug consumption will be tolerated on Stanley School property.  All vehicles must vacate the Stanley School by 12 noon on Sunday, 7/30.  Re-entry is subject to availability and another $10 fee.

The Sawtooth Valley Pioneer Park (SVPP) campsite will be open to the public at 5 PM on Thursday, 7/27.  Tent campers that arrive on Thursday will be able to take advantage of the “drop off” located at the mouth of the SVPP campsite to unload their gear.  After doing so, Tent campers will be able to take advantage of the close proximity of the Stanley School by paying the suggested donation of $10 per day before returning to set up camp.  Tent campers purchasing a parking pass from the Stanley School  that arrive on Friday and Saturday will be able to drive up to the SVPP campsite to unload, drop their vehicle back off at the Stanley School and take a short walk back to set up camp..  Campers must vacate the Stanley School by 12 noon on Sunday 7/30.

We encourage you to take advantage of the free garbage bags available at the front gate and at the medical tent area. We can use your extra help each night cleaning the concert area after the music ends. Please use both the garbage containers and the recycling containers.
